At LGT Wealth Management, we believe that sustainability is not a standalone initiative but an integrated approach that shapes every aspect of our business. This year’s 360 report sets out how we continue to embed sustainable practices across our operations, sustainable investment offering, stewardship strategy and partnerships.

As part of our dedication to a truly holistic approach, in 2024 we created the role of Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), marking an important milestone in our ongoing strategy. Phoebe Stone, our inaugural CSO, discusses the importance of aligning sustainability efforts throughout the firm’s operations and divisions, seeking to ensure sustainability is embedded at the heart of every decision. By connecting financial performance with environmental, societal and business resilience, we can identify and manage risks and opportunities for a future-fit investment approach and organisation.

The creation of CSO marks a natural evolution for LGT, rooted in our values of long-term stewardship and responsibility across generations. Leadership in sustainability has never been more crucial, as clients, regulators and society at large increasingly expect organisations to account for the value of human and natural capital alongside financial results. Our 360 approach is designed to deliver more than financial returns alone: it aims to support clients in achieving their investment goals while striving to generate positive change for our business, our industry and the planet.
