State of compliance with requirements

LGT’s aim is to make the website accessible to all. In particular, this includes accessible use and navigation using a keyboard, as well as the use of screen readers and other technologies.

There are always new requirements and improved standards for accessibility. For this reason, we regularly check our website for any obstacles or ways to improve. In doing so, we refer to the specifications laid out in the agreement on web standards by the “World Wide Web Consortium” (abbreviated to W3C). These specifications include “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines” or WCAG.

We are working on making our web pages and content accessible, and in essential areas this is already the case. However, there are some areas where we still have to improve accessibility. In future, we will design new content for our website in a way that all people can take advantage of it.

Due to the following incompatibilities or exceptions, our websites are partially reconcilable with WCAG 2.1 at conformity level AA and/or the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

The incompatibilities and exceptions are listed below.

Inaccessible content

PDF files

PDFs are required to be accessible. As it stands, the PDF documents provided on this website are not yet fully compliant with the accessibility requirements. When creating new PDF files, we endeavour to make these accessible.
If you have difficulties accessing the content of PDF files, please contact us. We would be happy to provide the relevant information in a more accessible format.

Videos

Some videos on our website do not currently have subtitles or transcripts. We are working on providing subtitles for all relevant content.

Career pages

LGT’s website is also aimed at job applicants. They are thus not aimed exclusively at prospects and clients and therefore also publish content not related to products and services. Directive (EU) 2019/882 does not apply to this content and it is therefore not accessible.

Creation of the accessibility statement

This statement was created on 25 June 2025 based on an assessment carried out by Init Aktiengesellschaft für digitale Kommunikation, Köpenicker Strasse 9, D-10997 Berlin.
