Our partnership is built on shared transatlantic interests and a mutual dedication to grassroots American football. As the UK Founding Partner of the Gridiron Grant, we are committed to fostering the benefits of sport and community engagement for young people.
Established in 2018, the Gridiron Grant is the first sports scholarship of its kind, offering full tuition fees for two students each year to attend any UK university or vocational programme of their choice.
The Gridiron Grant is available to any young person who participates in a JagTag or JagTag Xtra Time program, or who is associated with a UK BAFA team. Applications are welcome from anywhere in the country and the scholarship fund can be used for any further education courses or vocational programmes.
Each year, the winners are selected through a detailed application and interview process conducted by a panel that includes a qualified educator, representatives from the Jaguars UK team and LGT Wealth Management US. The selection criteria include a commitment to further education or training and a strong desire to achieve success in their chosen field.
We and the Jaguars alike share an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to supporting the local community. Together, we aim to deliver outreach projects and develop grassroots American football, with the goal of fostering positive change within the wider community.
