Vestra Wealth continues to take advantage of increased opportunities by hiring three investment managers.

22 January 2015

Vestra Wealth has hired three senior investment managers with considerable experience in running discretionary global multi-asset class portfolios.

William Boyd-Carpenter joins Vestra from UBS Wealth Management where he was a Director and Client Adviser with 13 years wealth management experience. William specialised in multi-asset class portfolio construction and management on behalf of high net worth clients, trusts and charities.

Tom Wicks was previously an Executive Director and Senior Discretionary Portfolio Manager at Julius Baer where he managed onshore and offshore multi-asset class portfolios for ultra high net worth clients, family offices, trusts and charities. He specialises in global equities.

Geraldine Napier was a Portfolio Manager at Julius Baer, formerly Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, managing global multi-asset class portfolios on a discretionary basis for both UKdomiciled and UK-resident non-domiciled clients. She was also a key contributor to the Funds Portfolio Construction Team.

“As many of the global banks are restructuring their wealth management proposition in light of changes brought about by RDR to their revenue models, our core focus on looking after the client as a long term relationship is resonating with both advisers and clients. We are delighted to welcome William, Tom and Geraldine to the team. All three embody the ethos and culture of Vestra and we believe that they will be a great addition to helping us continuously improve the service that we offer to our clients.” said David Scott, Founding and Senior Partner, Vestra Wealth.
