London Warriors American Football Programme

Commitment to discipline and success

Sport plays a vital role in our lives. Participating in sport at an early age can help teach children many of life’s virtues and can help them to explore and develop lifelong skills. The London Warriors Programme does exactly this which is why we are proud to help them in their fundraising efforts through our own sports events such as our annual golf day and flag football tournament.

The programme has achieved extraordinary success in its short history, with the original Warriors youth team having won three youth national titles and evolving into an adult team who are the current National Champions. Across the age groups, the London Warriors have amassed ten national titles, resulting in the Warriors becoming one of the most talked about amateur sports programmes in the country. The legacy of inclusion, development and ambition left behind by the original team forms the foundation of today’s successful programme.

The Warriors Programme is about more than just sport. It is the work off-field to address the various challenges that face young people in the community that defines the foundation of the Warriors Programme. Their ‘Pathways to Work’ scheme supports players in the world of work through CV writing lessons and interview preparation workshops. Understanding the link between on-field performance and off-the-field success is vital to the Warriors Programme. We are proud support this programme helping players of all ages in all their ambitions, both academically and professionally, by helping them to realise their potential.
