Providing benefit to society is an integral part of our philosophy, it is important to us to place emphasis on working together to help charities that need support.
As a firm, we actively host events and initiatives to engage our people, our clients and the wider society, to help raise funds and awareness for charities we have chosen to support. We encourage our people to be involved in fundraising activities, no concept is too big, no cause too small.
We are proud to support the annual Jersey Soup Kitchen in aid of the Shelter Trust for the homeless.
All proceeds made at the annual soup kitchen go towards helping the homeless community in Jersey. Held in Jersey's Royal Square each year, the soup kitchen works with local restaurants and groups who donate different soups for the event.
Over 40 soups were donated last year with £12,000 raised on the day going to the Shelter Trust.

On the 4th December 2019, we hosted our second Soup Market, support of Centrepoint. As a firm, it is important for us to provide value to our four stakeholder groups: clients, staff, owners and society and this initiative brings together all four groups, with a focus on society through our partnership with Centrepoint. Centrepoint's focus on giving homeless young people a future particularly resonates with our firm's ethos, and through their engagement programmes they are working to create a brighter future for disadvantaged young people.
Thanks to our restaurant partners for their generous contributions and everyone who made it to the soup market, we were thrilled to raise £15,175 to support Centrepoint, and generate further awareness on youth homelessness. It was a fantastic day with a cooking demonstration from Ben Lebus, Founder of MOB Kitchen, and performances from local school choirs throughout the afternoon. LGT's Soup Market gives you the opportunity to buy a soup from distinguished restaurants, for a minimum donation of £5, in the name of charity spirit and festive cheer.

Following the success of the 2016 Prince to Prince ride from London to Liechtenstein, 11 cyclists and a support team are taking on the epic challenge to cycle from Vaduz castle in Vaduz to the Liechtenstein City Palace in Vienna as part of Prince to Prince II.
Over six days the team will cycle the 720km route that includes challenging climbs through the Alps and crossing Liechtenstein, German and Austrian borders.
The purpose of the cycle is to raise funds to support the important work of our charity partner, The Prince's Trust. To support the Prince to Prince II cyclists and The Prince's Trust click here.
